Adding Pickups to Route Plans

Find your route or create one, and then click "Edit Route Plan" to get started.

See below for detailed explanations of each numbered section.
Section 1
You will find your current schedule in the Assigned Stops section. Each row represents a pickup and contains all relevant information pertaining to that stop:- No.: The stop's position in the schedule.
- Freq.: The pickup frequency.
- Schedule: When assigning pickups to a route plan, they are auto-assigned to schedules based on the service start date.
Note: You can change the schedule by hovering over the schedule number.
- Weekly stops run every week and are on all four schedules
- Biweekly stops run every other week and will run on Schedules 1 and 3 or Schedules 2 and 4
- Every 4 week stops are only on one of the four schedules
- Monthly stops are on only one of the four schedules
- Next Run Date: The next service date of the pickup.

- Location
- Product
- Qty.
Section 2
Stops that have not yet been assigned to route plans are in the Unassigned Pickups section.- Service: Commercial or Residential
- Order: The routing setup order number
- Customer
- Location
- Freq.: The pickup frequency.
- Unassigned (#): The number of pickups that have yet to be assigned to a route plan.
- Preferred Days: Customer's preferred pickup days.
- Product
- Qty.
- Stream
- Serviced on this Route: Whether or not the pickup is already assigned to this route plan.
- Service Start: You can now edit the Service Start Date of an unassigned pickup as long as no pickups have been routed AND nothing has ever been dispatched for the service.
Section 3
- The search bar can be used to find the unassigned pickup you are looking for. You can search by customer name, location name, location address, or order number.
- In addition, the column headers with
means you can click and add a filter.
Section 4
- The pen tool
allows you to circle pickups and add them to the schedule.
- The Optimize button helps you optimize your route based on distance.
- Click the legend in the bottom right to see more information about the symbols you see on the map.
- Click the calendar icon
to reference the system schedules.
- Lastly, remember to click Save to save your route plan.
Assigning Unassigned Pickups
There are three different ways you can assign unassigned pickups:
- Click to select a row, then drag and drop to rearrange the sequence.
- Use Shift or Ctrl / Cmd key to select multiple rows.
- Edit a stop directly by clicking the stop number and typing the desired number.
