Activating the Customer Portal
Settings
In Settings → Web Settings, you will find the Customer Portal settings. Although the toggles are there, you do not have the ability to activate/deactivate this feature. Please reach out to your Implementation Manager, Customer Success Manager, or Support to turn this on.
You can also choose whether or not you want your customers to have the ability to view Pending invoices.
Customers
You can pick and choose which customers you would like to have access to the Customer Portal.
- Go to the customer's profile, edit existing details, and toggle on the "Enable Customer Portal" setting.
- Enter the Customer Portal Login email address, then click Save.
- This will trigger a "Create Password" email to that email address.
Your customer will receive an email that looks like the below:
Clicking on the link will bring them to the "Create Password" page.

Dashboard
After logging in, your customer will see the Dashboard, with the following tabs:
- Services - Only if this is a Commercial/Residential routing customer
- Orders - This will show all Dumpster, Live Load, and Minis orders
- Invoices - Only Posted invoices will show here
- Payments
The customer can also see their number of open invoices, outstanding balance, and overdue balance.
Orders
Your customers can view all of their pending and completed orders here. We included columns for Order #, Service Date, Service, Status, Location Address, Asset ID, Description, and Order Amount.
Clicking on the blue will allow your customer to download the Order Receipt.
Invoices
Your customers can view all paid and unpaid invoices here. We included columns for Invoice #, Invoice Date, Due Date, Status, Terms, Location Address, Invoice Total, and Invoice Balance.
Clicking on the will allow your customer to download the Invoice.
Payments
Your customers can view their payments in this tab. We included columns for Payment Date, Status, Payment Method, Reference #, and Payment Amount.
Clicking on the will allow your customer to download the Payment Receipt.
Add Payment
Clicking Add Payment will allow your customer to make payments on outstanding invoices.
Your customer can select a saved credit card or add a new one by clicking on Payment Method.
Generate Statement
Clicking Generate Statement will allow your customer to generate their own balance statement. They have the option of generating Location-specific statements by selecting from the Location dropdown.
Other Considerations
Customers with Multiple Accounts
If your customer has multiple customer accounts with you, i.e. a residential account and a business account, you can give them the same Customer Portal Login email address. The system will let you know if an email address has been used with another customer.
Upon login with that email address, your customer can select the account they would like to view.
