Assign a Salesperson to a Customer Account

If a Customer Account was won by a Salesperson on your team, that person’s name should be assigned to the respective customer.  This will flow onto reports to assist with understanding the size of the customers they are bringing in, in terms of volume and sales, as well as assist with calculating commission payments.  To add a Salesperson to an account, please follow these steps: 


New Customer

  • Visit the Customer Page
  • Click the “Add New Customer” button
  • Type name of Salesperson into “Salesperson” field 
  • Please note: if the salesperson is already on another account, their name will pre-populate as you type it in
  • Enter all other required information into Customer form
  • Click the “Add Customer” button

Existing Customer

  • Visit the Customer Page
  • Click into a specific Customer Account 
  • Click the Edit Pencil icon
  • Type name of Salesperson into “Salesperson” field 
  • Please note: if the salesperson is already on another account, their name will pre-populate as you type it in
  • Click the “Update” button
