Material Types represent the types of material that you as a hauler accept. For example, you might accept C&D, Rock, Dirt, and Sheetrock if you are a Roll-Off company. If you only pick up residential waste, then you might only accept Refuse and Recycling. When configuring your initial system setup your implementation manager will help you work through what choices you would like active in your account. Material Types are important as they will display in both your SKU configurations, your sustainability sections and in your order forms.
If you'd like to add your own you can visit Settings > SKU Master > Material Types. You will then have a choice to search for existing material types in your inactive section and simply activate them OR you can click the add button to add something new if it does not yet exist in the system.
