Relocation Orders

A Relocate is when you are moving the container to a new location for a customer.

Addresses

It can be the same address or a new address. When you create the order, there will be an option to keep the existing address (for example if you are moving the container to a different location at the same address). Or you can select a different address entirely (Existing or New). 

Order Status 

Once scheduled, the Relocation order will show as Pending Action status until completed by the Driver. You'll note that unlike an Exchange order, Relocations do not create a new/unique order number. This is because it is not a new order or container, simply a Relocation of the existing dumpster. 

Dispatch 

The Relocation will also show both Locations on the Dispatch page as seen below. 

Charge Type 

The fee is determined by the Additional Charge type Relocation Charge: This is how much you charge for relocation orders. When you schedule a relocation, this additional charge will be added to the customer's invoice.
