To establish Routing service for a customer, you first have to create a Routing Setup order. Click the Create Order button and select Commercial or Residential Route.
Creating the Order
- Customer: Search and select an existing customer. The customer must have Commercial and/or Residential Route added as a Service in their profile.
- Location: Select an existing Location or create a new one. This will be the service address of the pickup.
- Sale: Input the sale date. You can also optionally add in contract information.
- Collection Details:
- Product: Select the product size e.g. 4 Yard, 96 Gallon, etc.
- Qty: Number of products to pickup
- Delivery Required: Check this box if a product delivery is required when starting service, and select a Delivery Date
- Order Type: Recurring vs. On Call pickups
- Waste Stream: Select the waste stream for this order e.g. Recyclables, MSW, etc.
- Service Start Date: The date of the first pickup.
- Frequency: Weekly or Biweekly
- Number of Pickups: Number of pickups per week
- Preferred Pickup Days: Your customer's preferred day(s) for pickup
- Additional Details: You can ignore these fields - they are used for Dumpster and Live Load orders.
- Price List: Select the relevant price list to be used. This is where Additional Charges will pull from.
- SKU: Do not select. Selecting a SKU will prevent you from selecting a Recurring Billing Cadence.
- Recurring Billing Cadence: You must select a Recurring Billing Cadence if you want the system to generate recurring invoices for the order.
Tip: Although the Unit Price of the Recurring Billing Cadence is configured in Settings, you have the ability to override the billing amount by clicking on the Unit Price. In the pic below, you would click on Unit Price - $105 to change the amount.
