Samsara Integration

Integrating your Samsara account will allow you to see your trucks directly in CurbWaste Dispatch

Note: You must have a Samsara account to use this integration in CurbWaste.  

 

Setting Up the Integration

If you already use Samsara, you can set up this integration at any time. Go to Settings → Integrations → GPS Integrations. Select Samsara from the dropdown and turn on the toggle. Enter in your authentication token/API key, and click Save.

Trucks

Your truck names in Samsara must much the Truck Names in CurbWaste. If you are unsure what your Truck Names are, navigate to Resources → Trucks.

 

Using Samsara in Dispatch from Map

Once the integration is set up, the feature is quite easy to use. In Dispatch from Map, simply toggle on the truck icon "Show Current Location of Trucks".  Trucks locations typically update every ~5 minutes.

Please note: You can only see your trucks in Dispatch from Map and not in other dispatch views.
