Zone-Based Pricing

Price your orders based on the zip code of the order's location address

This feature allows you to dynamically price your orders based on the zip code of the service address. With zone-based pricing enabled, the order form will limit your SKU selection based on the zip code of the order's location address.

Setup Process

1. Define your zones in settings

Go to Settings → Web Settings → Zone-based Pricing. This is where you will define and manage your zones.

To create a zone, you must include 

• Zone Name
• Zone Code
• Color, which you can select with the dropper icon
• Regions, where you will provide the zip codes separated by commas
• Services, which can be Dumpsters and/or Live Load

2. Enable zone-based pricing for your price list(s)

After you have configured your zones, the next step is to enable zone-based pricing at the price list level. Go to Services → Dumpster or Live Load. Click on the icon to see the toggle. 

3. Add zone rates to your SKUs 

Enabling zone-based pricing for your price list will reveal additional fields you can edit at the SKU-level. Once you are in list view (click on the icon), you can click on the zone fields to edit the rates. 

4. Create orders using that price list

• If the customer has the zone-based price list added to their profile and
• if the zip code of the Location Address is included in the zone

you will be able to access the zone-based price list when you select your price list & SKU. 

If you choose the zone-based SKU, the Zone Name will be added as a label on the order. 

Dispatch

With Zone-based Pricing enabled, you will have access to zone filters in Dispatch. This filter allows you to filter unassigned Dumpster and Live Load orders by zones.
