Containers

After your products are set up and active in CurbWaste, you must navigate to the Containers page to set up all instances of those products and their asset IDs. This page contains all of your active and inactive containers, which are grouped in individual tabs. 

How do I set up containers?

  1. Navigate to the Containers settings page by going to Resources → Containers
  2. Click the +Add New Container button on the top right
  3. Select the Product from the dropdown menu
  4. (Optional) If you are setting up more than one instance of that product, click Multiple
    1. Enter in the number of that product you are setting up
    2. Press the + button
  5. Enter in the Asset ID (Only Required for Serialized Inventory)
  6. (Optional) Enter in the Purchase Date, Purchase Price, Purchased From, and Notes
  7. Click Add Container(s) on the bottom right

Please note that after you add containers into your system, you will likely want to move them out of the Unassigned section of your inventory into their proper location.  If you have any questions on how to do so based on your configuration, please reach out to your CSM.

Modifying container details

Modifying existing container data or deactivating any existing containers are also done on this page. 

To modify a container’s details,

  1. Find the asset by scrolling on the page or by using the search bar
  2. Click the 3 dots on the right side
  3. Click Edit

To deactivate an asset, simply find the asset and toggle it off.
