Please reach out to your Implementation Manager, Success Manager, or Support with any questions or assistance with Integrating your QuickBooks Online Account. Once you are ready to integrate, navigate to Settings → General Settings → Integrations and toggle on the QuickBooks Online Integration.
Click the QuickBooks Online Integration toggle to connect to QuickBooks. You will be redirected to the QuickBooks Online Login page to enter your User ID and Password.
When you have successfully logged in, it will ask you to map your current customers, you can complete this step after you have finished integrating your account. You can select “Next” to move to the final step.
Once completed, you will see the integration Toggled On and a Status of Connected.
Mapping Customers
On the QuickBooks integration page, you also have ability to map your CurbWaste customers to their respective QuickBooks profiles.
First, use the search bar to find your CurbWaste customer. Next, click the blue field on the right which will display a dropdown menu of your QuickBooks customers. You can also type in this field to search.
Manual Sync vs. Auto Sync
Within the Quickbooks Online Integration settings, you can also choose to enable Auto Sync or leave it toggled off, which is what we call Manual Sync.
Auto Sync
With Auto Sync, invoices, payments, and credit notes will automatically sync over to your Quickbooks when they are generated in CurbWaste. Any changes made to invoices and payments in CurbWaste will be synced as well.
Even with Auto Sync enabled, Invoices and Payments may not initially sync to your Quickbooks due to error, resulting in "Failed Sync". To reattempt the sync, you would have to temporarily disable Auto Sync so that you can manually sync the invoice/payment.
Manual Sync
With Manual Sync, invoices, payments, and credit notes will not sync to your Quickbooks unless you physically click the icon in Billing. After an invoice has synced to Quickbooks, any changes made to the invoices will not sync over to your Quickbooks until you click the
icon.
If you are on manual sync, you also have the option to enable auto-sync for updated invoices. This means that if an invoice is already synced to Quickbooks, any additional changes you make to the invoice will automatically sync to your Quickbooks without the need of clicking the icon. This setting can be found in the Quickbooks Online Integration settings page.
