Multi-use Labels
If you have specific labels that you want to use over and over again for different Orders, Customers, and/or Locations, you can set them up as multi-use labels in Settings.
Please note: You still have the ability to add one-time labels to Orders without going through the Labels configuration in Settings.
Creating and Managing Multi-use Labels
Navigate to Settings to configure your Labels. From here you can create new Labels or edit existing ones.
Creating Labels is pretty straightforward. You need to give your Label a Name, Color, and Code.
The Label Code will only be visible on Dispatch in place of the 'Label Name' to save space.
Global Labels
Labels created at the Customer and Location levels can be configured as Global Labels, which will cascade down from Customer → Location → Order and Location → Order, respectively. Please navigate to those sections for more details.
Order Labels
Adding Labels to Orders
The way you add Labels to orders has not changed. You can still add it in the Order Form...
...or in Dispatch:
You can still add one-time labels to your orders as well but note that you must press the "Add" button.
Viewing Order Labels
There is a new column specifically for Labels on the Orders page,
...and on the Locations page:
On Dispatch, the Labels appear in the same column:
Customer Labels
You can add Customer labels on any existing customer or during customer creation. You will be able to select from multi-use labels created in Settings, or create one-time labels on the fly.
Clicking on the circle will make the label global. Global labels cascade from Customers to Locations to Orders, which means that all locations and orders created for this Customer will have this global label added by default.
Multi-use labels can also be turned into global labels:
Customer Profile
Customer labels are visible directly in the customer profile.
Customer List
Like with order labels on the Orders page, customer labels are visible on the Customer List page.
Location Labels
You can add Location labels on any existing location or during location creation. You will be able to select from multi-use labels created in Settings, or create one-time labels on the fly.
Clicking on the circle will make the label global. Global labels cascade from Locations to Orders, which means that all orders created for this Location will have this global label added by default.
Location Profile
Location labels are visible directly in the location profile.
Location List
Like with order labels on the Orders page, location labels are visible on the Locations section of customer profiles.
