When you create an order, you will be given the option to add contacts on the order. These contacts are also called "Users" which can be found in the customer's account. If there are no contacts to select from, you are able to create a new contact on the fly by clicking "Add New Contact".
Clicking "Add New Contact" will open another window to create the contact. Only First Name and Phone are required fields.
Order Placement Contact
The Order Placement Contact will receive an order confirmation email once the order has been created. The key detail to remember is that this contact must have an email address because the order confirmation is sent by email. Email is not a required field, however, so you will have to remember to add it.
On-Site Contact
The On-Site Contact will receive text notifications when your driver interacts with the order in the CurbWaste Driver App. The text message triggers are as follows:
- Driver taps "Start Order": "Hi! Our driver is on their way to [service address]"
- Driver taps "Arrived": "Hi again! Our driver has arrived at [service address]"
- Driver taps "Complete": "Thanks for choosing [company name] for [service address]"
Additional Contact
There are no automations tied to the Additional Contact. This field is used to put a contact on the order for your drivers to reach out to in case there's an issue with the order. This contact will not receive order confirmations or texts regarding the order's progress.
